ECSO: Swascan one of the top 20 startups in Europe

ECSO – The European Cyber Security Organisation has announced that the innovative Cybersecurity platform has been selected as one of the 20 most promising startups in Europe. This is a recognition that only testifies to the excellence of the solutions developed by the Swascan team and the incredible inherent growth potential in the company.

ECSO: Swascan in brief

Swascan is the CyberSecurity Testing platform founded by Raoul Chiesa and Pierguido Iezzi and is the first of its kind available in Cloud, On Premise, SaaS and All-in-One (click here to start the free trial). Its functionalities allow to identify, analyze and solve vulnerabilities and security problems related to:

  • websites;
  • web applications;
  • networks;
  • source codes.

Swascan’s services guarantee Security Governance and GDPR Compliance. In addition, Swascan has developed its own CyberSecurity Research Center.

ECSO: the role of this association

ECSO – was born as a contractual counterpart, led by private investors, to the European Commission for the implementation of the contract of Cyber Security Public-Private Partnership (cPPP). ECSO members include a variety of entities ranging from large companies to SMEs and start-ups, from research centres, universities, end-users, operators, clusters and associations to local, regional and national administrations of EU Member States.

ECSO’s main objective is to support all those projects that aim to develop and promote cyber-security in the Old Continent, aming to:

  • promote and protect the growth of the European digital single market from cyber threats;
  • develop the cyber security market in Europe and the growth of a competitive ICT and cyber security industry with a stronger market position;
  • develop and implement cybersecurity solutions for the critical phases of reliable supply chains, in sectoral applications where Europe is a leader.
